Flight Simulator/Instructor / C-130 Pilot Instructor

Details: Security Clearance: SecretAssociate Degree from an accredited school/college.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Previous Pilot experience in C-130 aircraft.Experience in military flight operations and training; Current in U.S. military aircraft within the previous 4 years, or within the previous 6 years if the candidate has performed eleven (11) years of military operational flying duty; minimum of 800 hours of total time in U.S. Military aircraft; minimum of 200 hours of instructor time in U.S. Military aircraft. Working knowledge of the following regulations: AFI 11-202 Vol 3, General Flight Rules; AFM 11-217 Instrument Flying, C-130 Operations Procedures; and all appropriate current regulations. Be able to communicate effectively. Responsibilities for C-130 Pilot:This position will be filled for Kirtland AFB, NM location. Governing CBA in place. Various Shifts.Deliver platform instruction to Special Operations aircrew utilizing ATARS courseware and training media. Provide instruction to aircrew utilizing static aircraft, aircrew training devices and computer based instruction. Operate training devices and serve as role player for training and mission rehearsal operations. Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for lesson and course development, maintenance and upgrade. Maintain familiarity with applicable tech orders and AFSOC instructions and review courseware to ensure accuracy of lesson content. Submit training change proposals (TCP's) where appropriate for development and upgrade of lessons. Fly, at least annually, as observer on based assigned aircraft to observe current aircrew procedures and techniques. Support engineering and maintenance functions during test and evaluation of training devices. Perform other collateral duties as assigned by the Contract Weapon System Lead.Reports to the Contract Weapon System Lead regarding accomplishment of assigned duties and responsibilities. Performs other duties as assigned by the Weapon System IPT Lead.
